Marie Billings is a mother, wife, and educator. She has three adult children. As of 2020, she has been happily married to her husband, Keith, for 28 years. Marie Billings has dedicated her life to the education of young children. She has over 20+ years of teaching experience. She earned her BS in Elementary Education from Southeastern Oklahoma State University and Montessori Certification for American Montessori Society. Her lifelong dream of owning her own Montessori school came to fruition in August 2011 when her home was licensed by the State of Texas to operate as a small Montessori classroom (childcare facility). Then in 2018, with the help of many supportive Montessori parents, friends, and family members, she and her husband converted a small farmhouse into a fully equipped, lovely, Early Childhood Montessori School. Marie enjoys spending time with family and friends and especially enjoys being a grandmother. She enjoys cooking, good food, reading, gardening, and travel. |

Ms. Emily grew up in Hewitt, with two siblings. She is a wife, mother, musician, and educator. She has one son, and one dog. She also plays the violin and enjoys playing and singing in local venues as a member of the Fox and the Crow. Ms.
Emily attended the University of North Texas and
majored in English. She has
been working at Wooded Acres Montessori since
January, 2011, and has since earned
her Montessori Certification from North American
Montessori Center. |
Keith Billings

Keith works behind the scene. His day job is with a medical facility as a Computer Support Technician. He has worked there for 25 years. On weekends, he does whatever is needed to be done at the school and there is always much to be done, and for that he is dearly loved and greatly appreciated. Keith is married to Marie. From the first day he met her he has supported her dream and helped make it possible. In
his spare time Keith enjoys fishing, the
outdoors, gardening, writing poetry,
and spending time with family and friends. |
